Workplaces of the future will rely on artificial intelligence to complete many day-to-day tasks, some of which we have not even thought of yet. As these technologies become more integrated across a range of jobs across all industries, the demand for individuals skilled in writing effective AI prompts, or prompt engineering, is going to increase.
What is prompt writing?
Put simply, it is the design and development of a statement by a human to make a request for an AI tool. For example, it could be a set of questions or a list of instructions that will allow the tool to generate the desired output.
At its most basic level, think of asking ChatGPT to write an essay for you. However, this often does not provide enough direction to the GPT language model. We need to be considering the parameters and components of the expected output and include this in the way the prompt is posed.
There is an art to crafting the most effective prompts and they are often multi-layered.
Who needs to know how to write effective prompts?
Anyone who wants to be in a workplace post-2024!
Heard of the saying garbage in = garbage out? Well, that is exactly what will happen with poorly executed prompts. Given the rapid expansion of generative AI into so many aspects of our digital worlds, this means that everyone needs to understand how to ask the right questions or give the right instructions to the AI tool being used.
The Workshop
In this engaging and interactive training session, we will delve into the fascinating world of prompt writing, and discover the secrets to crafting exceptional prompts that yield accurate and inspiring AI-generated content, ensuring a competitive edge in today’s technology-driven landscape.
Future-proof your skillset and join us as we explore how prompt writing is revolutionising industries around the globe.
